Stravinsky was the only living composer to see Fantasia in the works and the premiere. His most notable ballets performed in Paris were The Firebird (1910), Petrushka (1911), and The Rite of Spring (1913), two of which the soundtrack was used for Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. He is acknowledged as being one of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century.
